~Kinda “BA”~ By Rheannon

Do you get up in the morning, look into the mirror and say, “I am a world changer”?  Probably not!  When I wake up, I usually look in the mirror to see what kind of collateral damage sleeping did to my “bed head” status.  HA!  There’s usually makeup smeared somewhere, too.  Lookin’ good!

But what if we could see through the eyes of the Spirit of God???

Do you know who you are?

You are a child of God- that makes you royalty.  It also makes you heir to the promises God gives those who are His.  Eternity. Blessings. Strength.  Truth.  His Word.  The community of believers! Eternal rewards…

You are part of “The Church Militant” (the Body of Christ on Earth)- that makes you a warrior, fighting on behalf of the Kingdom of God.  Not against people, but against spiritual forces of darkness.

You pray for those around you?  That makes you an intercessor.  By the way- when you are praying God’s word, you are lining yourself up with His Will…which pretty much makes you unstoppable…

You’re filled with the Spirit-you have gifts from God specifically given to you by Him to impact the world around you.  How amazing!  God has a calling on your life!

See?  You are AMAZING.  Nothing about you in just “plain ol’ you.”  You are the one God sent Jesus for!  You are the one He calls His own!  Precious!

Once we begin to see ourselves the way God sees us, we become unstoppable in usefulness to God.  Don’t think that what you do is not spiritual enough to qualify as really doing anything for God.  I once heard it said that a mother is a pastor to her children, teaching them and leading them in the things of God.  That’s a HUGE big deal.  Anything you do can be done for God’s glory.  If it can’t be…ditch it.

Can you think of a few of your gifts?  Check out this list from God’s word-

Wisdom

Knowledge

Faith

Gifts of Healing

Miracles

Prophecy

Distinguishing between spirits (discernment)

Speaking in different languages

Interpretation of different languages spoken

Apostles

Prophets

Leadership

Mercy

(Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinth 12:8-10, Ephesians 4:11 in no particular order)

I’m willing to bet that each of you reading this has one of these.  In fact, I bet you have a few of them!  So, go for it!  God made you with a purpose, gave you gifts, and has a job for you to do.

Go ahead, you World Changing, Spiritual Battle Fighting Intercessor of God!  You Knowledge bearing, Mercy giving Teacher, you.

Now how do you feel about you??  Can I say…kinda BA aren’t ya…!  BASICALLY AWESOME!
